Cursed City comes to WARCRY!

Wow, y'all a LOT has happened since the last time I posted. My first battle report for the Grimgard Chronicles is recorded and edited (though more work to do before it's posted!) and I've started streaming every Tuesday at twitch.tv/HeyGMKenny doing painting and hobby stuff! Hey, that's today! Come hang out!

I was also one of the fortunate few who was able to grab the Warhammer Quest: Cursed City box, which apparently is the holy grail of Warhammer fans everywhere these days. Because I was able to grab these incredible models, I decided to do up a little bit of homebrew stuff to join it into my other favorite GW game — Warcry!

This warband is designed to be taken as a whole group, but can of course be allied into any Order warband at the shown points. All together, they come in just under 1,500 points which is very solid and respectable. As a note, I would suggest not adding any further models to your warband if you take all 8 heroes, but it's your game and I ain't yer daddy!

Anyway, here's your cards!

You'll notice that all these models have the Leader runemark. This is purely with respect to Abilities, and has apparently replaced the Ally runemark. You can read about those changes in the new Grand Alliance books on page 5.

I had a lot of help with these fighter cards (thanks Travis and Reddit!) and am really happy with how they turned out. If you use them in your game, let me know how you like them and if you think anything needs to be cranked up or turned down! Until the Warcry team actually releases stats for these characters, I'll continue to update them and use them in my own games at home. There's also a great campaign just released on the Warhammer Community site called "A Fool's Trove in Ulfenkarn" where some of the baddies got their own cards as well! This would be a great opportunity to use these new rules! Check it out here!
